I get many requests from startup founders, angel investors, professionals, journalists, and event organizers. I feel honoured by you reaching out to me! To facilitate the process and increase your chances that I respond, please read through the section below before you contact me. I understand German, English and French. I write back in German or English.

Startups | Seeking Investment?

My Investment Focus:
  • I invest about CHF 50k – CHF 250k in incorporation, seed and early-stage rounds.
  • Highly scalable technology product startups with at least one of the following elements: artificial intelligence, analytics, cyber security, amazing innovation, SaaS.
  • Location of the at least two founders and legal entity is in Switzerland.
  • Smart money contribution: My expertise and professional network should be a fit.
  • I expect founders to reach out to me for an investment (and not fundraisers, brokers, or intermediaries).
Please Send Me Your Pitch Deck and Factsheet:
  • Send me your deck that covers at minimum the 10 pitch slides proposed by Guy Kawasaki.
  • If you answer all questions in the SICTIC Factsheet, that’s a big plus.
  • Your education and work experience and the one of your co-founders.
  • Let me know how I can add value.
  • Be clear on what exactly you want from me.

Thomas Dübendorfer hat an der ETH Zürich in Informatik doktoriert. Er ist Präsident und Mitgründer vom Swiss ICT Investor Club (SICTIC), dem grössten Angel-Investoren Club der Schweiz mit einem Fokus auf junge Schweizer Technologie-Startups. Er hat im Silicon Valley und bei Google in Zürich als technischer Leiter und Sicherheitssoftware-Entwickler gearbeitet. Er ist Angel-Investor, Mitgründer und Verwaltungsratsmitglied von mehreren Startups und hat mehrere Startups erfolgreich verkauft. Er war unter den “Top 100 Digital Shapers of Switzerland” und wurde im Who Is Who in Zürich (2019) unter den 200 prominentesten Persönlichkeiten portraitiert. Er ist Geschäftsführer von Datartis AG und Datartis Ventures AG.
